About the role
- Tackle problems including LLM memory, multi-language codebase indexing, semantic search for large codebases
- Design, build, test, and ship end-to-end features that shape developer workflows
- Gather user feedback and iterate to improve features
- Stay current with advances in ML and AI, and bring insights into the product
- Monitor, evaluate, and maintain deployed agents for lasting value
- Contribute through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and setting engineering standards
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with modern GenAI stack (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, vector DBs, orchestration frameworks, agents)
- Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining ML/AI systems in production
- Comfortable shipping quickly in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Product-centric mindset that understands business and user needs
- Nice-to-Haves: Experience authoring MCP servers, prompt libraries, or tooling for GenAI in software development
- Experience with Kotlin/Java (Our backend is built in Kotlin)
- Experience writing or contributing to IDE extensions or plugins
- Experience building tools for developers from within a Platform, Developer Productivity, or Infrastructure team
