About the role

  • Preparation and post-processing of the instruments, devices, materials and implants required for each procedure
  • Float duties as well as independent instrument handling and assisting during surgical procedures across all of our specialties
  • Proper documentation of all surgical procedures in accordance with medical standards and requirements
  • By providing qualified and professionally competent operating-room assistance, you are responsible for ensuring a swift and smooth course of each procedure

Requirements

  • Completed training as an Operating Theatre Technician (OTA) or as a Registered Nurse
  • Strong commitment, flexibility and a sense of responsibility
  • Enjoyment of a trusting and cooperative interprofessional working relationship; understanding of your role as the interface between nursing and medical care
  • Good communication skills, openness and empathy toward our patients
