About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist operational teams in preparing and responding to public procurement procedures, service concessions and other complex contractual arrangements.
Participate in negotiation phases with contracting authorities, local authorities, public and private clients, and prospective partners.
Analyze legal risks related to projects and propose pragmatic solutions adapted to operational challenges.
Support teams on development projects, particularly those involving works, site development or construction, or new energy projects.
Draft, review and negotiate contracts.
Monitor contract execution: amendments, claims, settlement agreements and contractual evolutions.
Advise operational management on the application and interpretation of ongoing contracts.
Secure contractual relationships with local authorities and other public and private clients, as well as with potential partners.
Manage pre-litigation and litigation related to the award and performance of public and private contracts.
Define defense strategies in coordination with the relevant departments and external counsel.
Oversee amicable and judicial expert assessments.
Advise teams on issues of public business law, public procurement law and construction law.
Participate in external growth operations by carrying out or coordinating legal due diligence in your area of expertise.
Develop and deliver awareness-raising and training activities for operational teams.
Contribute to the legal and regulatory monitoring of the Public Law Department.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ideally admitted to the bar (CAPA) and holding a Master 2 degree in public business law, economic public law or equivalent.
Minimum 7 to 10 years of professional experience in a similar role.
Experience in a law firm is particularly valued.
Significant experience in the construction, infrastructure or complex, works-involving projects is sought.
Knowledge of the parking, mobility or public transport sectors is a significant additional advantage.
