About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise and support Regional Human Resources Managers and managers on individual and collective issues (questions in labor law, disciplinary matters, etc.)
- Provide legal input for responses to tender offers and employee transfers
- Lead management of litigation (case study and monitoring, risk analysis, development of litigation strategy, evidence collection, updating litigation tracking tools, monitoring accounting provisions, etc.)
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procedures and templates (employment contracts, standard letters, etc.)
- Monitor legislative and collective bargaining developments and provide legal updates to the HR team (payroll, HRIS, Regional HR Managers, etc.)
- Update internal HR training materials and co-host certain HR webinars for employees together with the Head of Employee Relations
- Prepare, follow up and participate in periodic meetings of employee representative bodies (CSE)
- Facilitate various CSE committees (CSSCT, Equal Opportunity/Professional Equality committee, etc.)
- Assist the Head of Employee Relations in preparing for collective bargaining (legal research, drafting agreements and ensuring implementation)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced degree in Labor/Employment Law
- At least 5 years’ experience in a corporate environment with complexity (multi-activity, multiple collective agreements and multi-site operations)
- Excellent drafting and interpersonal skills required
- Strong analytical and synthesis abilities
