About the role
- As part of the IT department (DSI), design, develop and maintain data infrastructures and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
- Play a key role in converting raw data into reliable, actionable insights to support business teams and overall strategy.
- Technical leadership: define best practices and development standards.
- Mentor and train developers to improve their technical skills.
- Design and development: create and build robust, scalable BI solutions.
- Create and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Data management: ensure data quality, security and compliance.
- Optimize database and data warehouse performance.
- Manage data integrations from various sources.
- Cross-team collaboration: work with business teams to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Technology watch: stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in BI and data engineering.
- Propose and implement continuous improvements to our processes and tools.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, and BI tools like Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
- Strong project management and communication skills; able to work in an agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, and with NoSQL databases.
