About the role
- Manage a payroll portfolio with full autonomy
- Ensure payroll processing and verification based on variable inputs
- Calculate and check one-off payroll items
- Manage and reconcile payments
- Process absenteeism and prepare periodic payroll-related declarations
- Respond to payroll-related queries from various stakeholders
- Perform the monthly payroll close
Requirements
- Full mastery of the entire payroll cycle
- Rigour and discretion
- Time and priority management
- Ability to handle large volumes of data
- Team player and adaptable
- Customer-service oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with SAGE software (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years' payroll experience in a complex, multi-collective-agreement, multi-site environment
