Requirements
What you’ll need- Earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Mathematics or a closely related discipline from a regionally accredited institution by the date of appointment.
- Minimum of eighteen graduate semester hours in Mathematics consistent with SACSCOC faculty credentialing requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate mathematics courses effectively.
- Strong commitment to student learning, academic advising, and instructional excellence.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and contributing to the mission of Kentucky State University.
- Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
