About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate multiple 5-6 axis end form grinding machines in a temperature-controlled environment
- Perform quality inspections using precision measurement tools
- Troubleshoot moderate to complex problems and adjust grinding programs
- Maintain tooling and equipment, resurfacing as needed
- Document production information and communicate safety, quality, and product issues across shifts
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience (milling, turning, or grinding)
- Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, tooling, feeds/speeds, and setup processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing specifications, and work instructions
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and able to lift up to 33 pounds
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to safety procedures
- Reliable and dependable, thrives in a collaborative team environment
- Basic understanding of G-code or CNC programming preferred
- Experience with Penta, Haas, Combi or similar platforms preferred
