About the role

  • Own product life cycle management for a specific range of Drilling & Threading Products.
  • Support the global commercial and regional product management teams with advanced level product and application training and commercial awareness activities.
  • Develop the marketing strategy by maintaining and socializing a product roadmap to generate a compelling pipeline of new product ideas and projects.
  • Drive new product commercialization and take an active role in achieving product line sales targets, market share growth and profitability to plan by region.
  • Assess product performance and price positioning of your product lines.
  • Define proper actions accordingly to adjust to the current and future market environment.
  • Collaborate with operations teams like supply chain, manufacturing and purchasing to improve leverage and drive synergies with the demand generation team.

Requirements

  • Engaging personality with an ability to push and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • You are a team player with great collaboration and social skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management.
  • Ideally with previous commercial exposure to metal cutting and machining industries.
  • The level of this position will be determined by the selected candidate’s education & experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in product management, technical sales, product marketing or engineering with proven commercial exposure.
  • MBA or proven proficiency with metal cutting tools is considered a strong advantage.
  • Previous experience in the metal cutting industry is considered a very strong advantage.
  • Ability to lead, organize and implement product marketing initiatives in an international setting.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Very good English language skills with excellent written and oral communication.
  • Willingness to travel globally.
