About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Stores, Finance, and Quality, to ensure accurate and timely recording of material receipts and efficient processing of invoices for prompt payment.
  • Ensure the timely ordering of essential materials, including Industrial Gases, Vegetables & Groceries, and Stationery, to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure a timely and efficient supply of materials to meet production schedules and maintain uninterrupted operations.
  • Collaborate with transporters and logistics partners to coordinate the movement of goods, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with regulations.
  • Liaise with customs clearing agents to ensure smooth and compliant clearance of goods, managing necessary documentation and approvals.
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and tracking the status of deliveries to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Accurately maintain and update procurement records, including purchase orders, supplier contracts and invoices. Ensure all documentation is organized, easily accessible, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Organize regular visits from service engineers to ensure the maintenance and servicing of all office equipment.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of procurement, logistics, and supply chain processes.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
