About the role
- Provide technical support to Sales Engineers and Channel Partners to maintain and generate business
- Represent Kennametal’s portfolio of cutting tools and tooling solutions
- Conduct tests, prepare test reports, and identify solutions to increase sales opportunities
- Apply high level technical expertise and collaborate with distributors and direct accounts
- Identify new technical solutions and recommend tools from the standard portfolio
- Collaborate with tool designers to develop special tools per customer requests
- Support existing customers and assess customer needs to develop effective strategies
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with end users
- Present products using best practice reports and proven solutions
- Keep customers informed about new technologies and product innovation
- Share technical insights with the local sales team and prepare tooling lists with cutting parameters and time studies
- Support team sales initiatives and participate in roadshows, open days, and trade fairs
Requirements
- Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience in the metal cutting or precision tooling industry
- Solid understanding of contracts and proven experience in commercial negotiations
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and metal cutting concepts
- CNC programming, CAD/CAM experience
- Innovative, solution-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid Category B driver’s license
- Intermediate level of English
