About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive direct revenue growth across North America by owning a defined service sales quota, managing the pipeline, and closing service contracts, spare parts packages, and extended warranties.
  • Partner closely with Kempower sales and service teams to embed value-added service offerings right into the initial equipment purchase, ensuring seamless post-sales support.
  • Assist the Director of Service by conducting market research and data analysis to design new service concepts, optimize attach/renewal rates, and build scalable pricing models.
  • Create high-impact sales tools (presentations, case studies, FAQs) and lead training workshops to empower the broader sales team to position and sell Kempower service solutions effectively.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of experience in sales, account management, or service sales, with a track record of building pipelines, forecasting in CRM tools (like Salesforce), and closing recurring revenue models or value-added service contracts.
  • Strong ability to dive into market research, analyze data on customer trends/attach rates, and translate those insights into clear pricing recommendations and go-to-market strategies.
  • A natural communicator who can create high-impact sales collateral (presentations, one-pagers) and cross-functionally train the broader North American sales team to successfully position service solutions.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. You thrive in fast-paced, changing environments and are willing to travel up to 50% within North America to engage directly with customers on-site.
