About the role
- Influencing Agent Behavior: Implements and executes sales strategies to achieve financial and sales goals.
- Collaborates with internal partners to achieve intended outcomes.
- Utilizes the appropriate sales tools to influence behavior and drive results.
- Agency Diagnostics and Cross Selling: Identifies opportunities to cross-sell Kemper Auto products and identified agencies needs aligned with Kemper Auto offerings.
- Agency Management and Support: Responsible for managing and developing a territory of independent agents.
- Provides an outstanding experience for agents through consultative selling.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with agents at all levels within the agency.
- Drives new business growth, mix of business, retention, and profitability within assigned territory.
- Stays current on product and pricing trends to drive intended outcomes.
- Collaboration and Mentoring: Actively participates in regional strategy meetings to develop and lead execution of business goals.
- Assists in the implementation of new production launches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of sales experience or insurance industry experience preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional and influential work experience required.
