About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Directing the sales process to meeting and exceeding sales and profitability margin targets
- Developing profitable business with designated account(s)
- Expanding profits, market position and share
- Introducing new products and solutions to clients
- Organizing reports, sales calls, and business reviews
- Supporting the development of demand forecast in assigned area
- Leading and participating on teams
- Developing and maintaining relationships with all at the manufacturing site from the operators to the mill manager
- Influencing stakeholders and collaborating with others in a paper manufacturing environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree level and/or equivalent field experience in paper science, chemistry, biology, microbiology, or chemical engineering.
- 1 to 5 years experience in the paper industry
- Ability to develop Key Account or Project Plans and execute with discipline
- Strong emphasis on documenting ROI of new and existing applications
- Ability to develop “trust based” relationships with key buyers
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communicator both in verbal and written communication
- Experience in the following preferred:
- Paper making operations
- LSS, statistical analysis
- General wet-end applications, including retention, sizing, strength, cleaning, defoamers, felt wash and microbiological control
