About the role

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in close cooperation with Accounting
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Conducting actual vs. planned comparisons, variance analyses and profitability calculations in the production area
  • Calculation and post-calculation of manufacturing costs and valuation of inventories
  • Preparation and analysis of production KPIs
  • Further development of controlling processes as well as cost and performance accounting
  • Monthly group reporting
  • Business partner for management and business units: advising on investment decisions, projects and optimization measures
  • Responsibility for planning and controlling relevant KPIs
  • Shaping digitalization and automation projects in controlling
  • Acting as deputy for the Finance Director (m/f/d) during absences

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on Controlling, Finance or Accounting
  • Several years of professional experience in production controlling or plant controlling
  • Solid knowledge of cost accounting, costing and production processes
  • Knowledge of accounting under IFRS / HGB
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Expert-level MS Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query; VBA desirable) and confident user of SAP (FI/CO, MM, PP, SD)
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., SAC, Power BI) for reporting and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, solution-oriented and structured working style with a high sense of responsibility
