About the role
- Team leadership: Line management of the tool design team
- Active involvement in design work as a hands‑on team leader
- Support and development of team members
- Project management: preparation of schedules and action plans
- Cost control within projects
- Participation in budget planning
- Coordination and communication with the in‑house tool shop and external partners
- International project work with group sites (e.g., India, China, USA)
- Maintenance and management of technical data and documentation
- Technical responsibility: involvement in resource planning for design engineers
- Design of tools and components
Requirements
- Completed training as a Technical Product Designer and further qualification as a state‑certified technician, or equivalent qualification
- Confident use of CAD systems (Autodesk Inventor desirable) and relevant design software
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Experience in the design of stamping and embossing tools
- Solid knowledge of project management and the use of common PM tools
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials science
- Experience in line management of small teams
- Structured and solution‑oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, intercultural competence
- Hands‑on mentality
