About the role
- Key role in production by optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment and technologies to ensure efficiency and quality
- Analyze and improve manufacturing workflows; perform time studies and capacity analyses
- Implement automation solutions and standardize components and processes
- Specify, procure and commission production equipment in accordance with standards and regulations
- Manage CAPEX projects as well as technology upgrades and automation initiatives
- Support the introduction of new products and processes, including layout optimization
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards and promote energy efficiency and sustainability
- Align manufacturing capacities and technologies with cost-reduction targets and operational excellence initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing or production engineering, ideally in an international environment
- Solid knowledge of process optimization, Lean Manufacturing and automation technologies
- Analytical thinking, self-motivation, strong communication and teamwork skills – also in interdisciplinary teams
- Good written and spoken English skills
