Operations Manager

• Oversee all warehouse operations and regularly communicate with customers and vendors.
• Work directly with the regional operations manager to organize policies and procedures.
• Be available and responsive to all shifts when needed, including for additional coverage.
• Responsible for overall operations, including customer use, service, and contract KPIs.
• Maintain and respond to warehouse metrics and meet customer scorecard objectives.
• Lead strategic continuous improvement to ensure efficient run and profitable operations.
• Assist in initial training with employees and maintain recurrent training as required.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and communicate any issues with HR as required.
• Ensure training requirements are maintained and documented.
• Conduct drug tests and maintain food safety standards.

Sales

• Drive strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Lead and mentor 3-5 Business Development Managers and Solutions Design team members to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Develop and implement prospecting strategies for new markets and service offerings.
• Collaborate across business lines to establish target client profiles, develop and utilize effective prospecting tools, lead the response to large and complex client RFPs, and create and deliver compelling presentations tailored to diverse client audiences.
• Partner with key clients, and the operations team, to maintain and expand relationships, ensure seamless transition from business development to implementation, and continuously refine sales processes, tools, and customer tracking systems for greater efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.
• Market analysis and competitive intelligence – understand trends and competitors to position services effectively.

Senior Director of Sales

• Participate in daily operational tasks including planning of freight; toll cost; fuel spend; trailer utilization; safety management; Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance; driver supervision; profit-and-loss management; maintenance coordination.

Trucking Operations Intern

• Serve as primary contact to dedicated drivers and customers
• Manage up to 50 drivers across multiple operations
• Conduct analysis of fleet operations and make recommendations for continuous improvement
• Determine and measure key performance indicators
• Create, maintain and present customer specific reporting
• Ensure that all operations are following best practices and implementing latest service enhancements
• New account onboarding and contingency planning
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine their needs and expectations
• Conduct customer visits and satisfaction surveys
• Focus on driver and customer retention
• Perform other related duties as assigned
