About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee community-facing direct services.
Run the 800 Helpline (information and referral).
Lead community education.
Lead patient and family education.
Manage supportive care programs.
Collaborate with the Development team on grant requests and reports.
Deliver programs in virtual formats and keep resources accessible online.
Assist the Executive Director in guiding other program staff.
Support colleagues across awareness, advocacy, and signature events.
Represent the organization in the community and participate in most organizational activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience working with databases.
Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
Ability to represent the organization with professionalism and integrity.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in program development and management.
Ability to lead diverse teams that include staff, community organizations, and corporate partners.
Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends, with rare travel within the U.S.
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation for regular travel across the region.
Comfort working with a broad range of people, including clients with varying abilities and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with different timelines.
