About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct market research across a range of sectors, companies, and business topics
  • Gather, verify, and organise information from multiple sources
  • Prepare summaries, briefs, and research outputs for internal use
  • Analyse findings and present them in a clear and structured format
  • Track developments, trends, and relevant market activity as required
  • Maintain research files, reference materials, and working documents
  • Support ad hoc research requests with accuracy and good turnaround times
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by helping refine research processes and documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in market research, business research, intelligence, or a related analytical role
  • Strong ability to work with information in a structured and accurate way
  • Good written English and the ability to present findings clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to source accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Confidence working independently in a remote environment
  • Good judgement when handling research requests and interpreting findings
  • Comfortable using online research tools, spreadsheets, and standard office software
  • Experience supporting internal business, commercial, or strategy-focused research
  • Exposure to company research, competitor research, or industry analysis
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets capability
  • Experience preparing slides, summaries, or briefing materials
  • Familiarity with professional services, recruitment, or consulting environments
