About the role
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the EMEA region, in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, and customer segments to drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Build robust prospecting strategies and develop a scalable, high-quality sales pipeline.
- Establish, grow, and manage direct sales channels and distributor networks across the EMEA territory.
- Evaluate and expand the scope of existing distributor relationships to maximise commercial outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to account managers on partner strategy, performance, and enablement.
- Act as a key commercial point of contact for customers, end users, and channel partners across the region.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships at multiple levels within client organisations.
- Uphold high standards of service through proactive communication and responsive commercial practices.
- Collaborate with leadership to define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators aligned with regional growth targets.
- Coordinate with warehousing partners to ensure commercial activities and customer requirements are met effectively.
- Champion a culture of customer value, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a regional sales, business development, or commercial management role, ideally within an international or multi-territory environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage distributor networks and channel partnerships.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in both **German and Dutch** (spoken and written) is essential for this role, given the territory covered.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 4–5 days per week, face-to-face with customers and suppliers), including international travel within EMEA and to the USA.
- Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled warehouse environments and near mechanical equipment on occasion.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Background in industrial packaging, logistics, supply chain, or cargo-securement sectors.
- Experience managing multi-country territories across EMEA.
- Familiarity with warehouse and distribution operations and requirements.
- Additional language skills relevant to the EMEA region are advantageous.
