About the role

  • Lead the definition and validation of financial reporting requirements for stakeholders.
  • Design and review complex financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial computations, methodologies, and data interpretation.
  • Explain financial terminology, KPIs, and reporting logic clearly to technical teams.
  • Work closely with developers automating financial reports, ensuring correct implementation of calculations and business logic.
  • Review financial data structures to ensure alignment with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in financial reporting within project teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting automation, efficiency, and accuracy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Deep knowledge of financial KPIs, metrics, and reporting methodologies.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with Irish financial systems and reporting practices is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with financial data automation or reporting systems is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial and technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Fluent English.
