About the role
- Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright and Pytest
- Design and develop custom automation tools to drive integration and end-to-end testing
- Experience of enterprise level test automation using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Bash, and YAML
- Develop API testing module from scratch
- Develop automated tests for web and API services hosted in AWS
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or similar tools)
- Manage containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement and validate secure login workflows using SSO (OAuth, SAML) and identity providers
- Execute remote testing using VNC, SSH, and RDP across various access protocols
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform validation using Playwright, Pytest
- Monitor and report test results using tools such as AWS CloudWatch and S3
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in QA Automation Engineering. Strong programming experience in frontend/backend (Java/Python/Bash)
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript) and Pytest (Python)
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tooling, especially GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with secure authentication (SSO, OAuth, SAML)
- Experience working with VNC, SSH, and RDP in testing environments
- Solid understanding of browser automation and access control testing
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Experience with API testing frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar
- Familiarity with test reporting and metrics tools
- Understanding of zero-trust principles, encryption, and secure testing practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
