About the role
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes for technical roles including AI/ML engineers, data scientists, developers, and technical marketing specialists
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and other channels tailored to the Mexico tech talent market
- Coordinate interviews, maintain candidate communication, and ensure a positive candidate experience
- Manage applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics
- Execute HR policies and procedures established by the HR Director
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support payroll coordination, benefits administration, and time-off tracking
- Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws and regulations under HR Director guidance
- Serve as first point of contact for employee questions and concerns
- Support employee engagement initiatives and company culture activities
- Assist with conflict resolution and escalate complex issues to HR Director
- Help coordinate performance review cycles and feedback processes
- Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes and systems
- Support training and development program coordination
- Assist with HR analytics and reporting to support data-driven decision making
- Participate in special HR projects as assigned by HR Director
Requirements
- 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, with exposure to tech or startup environments preferred
- Experience supporting technical recruitment processes (exposure to AI/ML, software engineering, or data science roles is a plus)
- Solid understanding of Mexican labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices
- Hands-on experience with HR operations including onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
