About the role
- Partner with the CEO and COO on company-wide financial planning, including annual budgets, long-range plans, and rolling forecasts
- Translate company strategy into clear financial models, scenarios, and trade-offs
- Partner with leadership to evaluate strategic decisions, including pricing, hiring, and market expansion
- Build and maintain robust financial models covering revenue, costs, burn, and runway
- Develop scenario analyses to support decision-making under uncertainty
- Establish forecasting discipline across the business, with clear assumptions and accountability
- Own cash flow management, burn tracking, and runway planning
- Provide clear visibility into financial health and key risks
- Support capital allocation decisions to ensure efficient use of resources
- Partner with the CEO on fundraising strategy, investor materials, and financial narratives
- Build investor-ready financial models and projections
- Support due diligence processes with clear, defensible financials
- Oversee core finance operations, including budgeting, expense management, and financial reporting
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting
- Implement scalable processes and systems to support growth
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to align financial plans with execution
- Provide financial insight into key initiatives, including product development and go-to-market strategy
- Act as a thought partner to leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities
- Define the future structure of finance at Keebler Health
- Hire and lead finance team members as the company scales
- Establish best practices, controls, and financial discipline across the organization
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, investment banking, private equity, or high-growth startups
- Strong experience building financial models from scratch in ambiguous environments
- Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in early-stage or scaling companies
- Deep understanding of SaaS or healthcare technology business models (ideally both)
- Experience supporting fundraising processes and investor conversations
- Strong analytical rigor with the ability to translate numbers into clear business insights
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- High ownership mindset — takes responsibility for outcomes, not just outputs
- Extraordinary sense of humor
