About the role

  • Lead Discovery: Run business discovery sessions with finance stakeholders—CFOs, VPs of Finance, Controllers, FP&A teams. Ask the questions that uncover real challenges, not just surface-level requirements. Build relationships with senior finance executives as a peer, not a vendor.
  • Design Solutions: Translate business requirements into solution concepts that our Data Solutions Engineers can implement. Present Keboola's Financial Intelligence solution in the context of each prospect's specific use cases. Document clear requirements that minimize churn during implementation.
  • Shape Our Offering: Contribute to positioning, content, and messaging for Financial Intelligence. Create thought leadership content—blog posts, webinars, case studies. Support key accounts with ongoing advisory on financial analytics best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years in FP&A, financial systems, or finance transformation roles
  • Background (in priority order): FP&A analysts/managers from mid-to-enterprise companies who've done consolidation and reporting. Financial systems analysts who've implemented EPM/CPM tools. Big Four advisory—specifically Finance Transformation or Performance Improvement (not audit). Finance consultants from boutique firms focused on CFO services.
  • Mindset: You're curious about how things work. You enjoy explaining complex topics simply. You're ready to move from "doing the work" to "helping others do it better."
  • Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable):
  • - Financial Domain Expertise: You deeply understand financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), consolidation processes, and FP&A workflows including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You've lived this—you didn't just read about it. You know what keeps finance teams up at night because you've been there.
  • - Hands-on Data Experience: You've worked with data beyond Excel. You can write SQL. You've built reports, analyses, or models pulling from databases or data warehouses. You understand what "good data" looks like and why it matters.
  • - Stakeholder Engagement: You can hold a conversation with a CFO as a peer. You ask good questions, listen actively, and synthesize what you hear into actionable insights. Senior finance executives don't intimidate you—they energize you.
  • - English Proficiency: Professional working proficiency is essential. You'll lead discovery calls with CFOs, present to executive audiences, and produce written content in English. Our Financial Intelligence GTM is global—this isn't optional.
  • Strong Pluses: Experience with multi-entity consolidation (intercompany eliminations, currency conversion). Familiarity with EPM/CPM tools (Adaptive, Anaplan, Jedox, OneStream). Understanding of accounting principles and close processes. Experience in an advisory or consulting capacity.
  • Nice to Have: Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics). German language skills (for DACH market expansion). Previous sales or pre-sales exposure. Czech language skills.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary + equity package.
  • Budget for education.
  • 25 PTO's plus 3 sick days.
  • Cool new offices in the heart of Holesovice in Prague. You need to be 2-3 times a week in the office.
  • No set office hours and flexibility.
