About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead development teams in the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise applications.
- Serve as a technical leader responsible for application architecture, integration strategies, and adoption of development best practices.
- Drive the development and maintenance of applications, including coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and production support activities.
- Establish priorities, manage project timelines, and ensure successful delivery aligned with business objectives and IT strategy.
- Guide the adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
- Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver effective technology solutions.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements, modernization initiatives, and new technology solutions.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and scalability of supported applications.
- Provide leadership and guidance in resolving complex technical challenges, production incidents, and system issues.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, technical specifications, solution designs, and development standards.
- Lead Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, code reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate development efforts across global teams, vendors, and technology partners to ensure successful project execution.
- Mentor and support developers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required
- 8+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on the Microsoft technology stack
- Proven experience leading development teams and delivering enterprise-scale applications
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum-based software delivery environments
- Experience supporting production systems and resolving complex technical issues
- Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET 6/8+, and modern web application development
- Experience developing applications using ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC) and RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipeline implementation
