About the role
- Developing and implementing secure, end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles in cloud environments
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to design and implement containerization solutions using Kubernetes or Docker
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Applying GitOps principles for software delivery automation
- Supporting the organization's goals of enhancing security, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Working across multiple technology stacks
- Using database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Mongo DB, Oracle, MySQL
- Implementing DevSecOps best practices
- Ensuring effective log management and using analytics tools for system monitoring and optimization
- Developing and maintaining scripts to automate security checks, deployment processes, and routine DevOps tasks
- Leveraging AWS cloud services and other cloud platforms to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security
- Contributing to the development of secure network configurations and cloud-based security architecture
- Maintaining strong familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
- Assisting in implementing Service Mesh solutions (e.g., Istio) for secure service-to-service communications
- Collaborating with teams using version control systems like GitLab and working with automation tools like Ansible, Maven, and Gradle
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience developing web-based applications
- 3-5 years of experience with Kubernetes or Docker
- Develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
- Experience working in AWS and cloud technologies
- Experience working with Agile, Agile XP, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Vue.Js, Angular and or React
- Experience with scripting languages Python, Bash, Powershell
- Networking experience
- Experience or knowledge of Service-Mesh, such as Istio
- Experience working with version control systems like Gitlab
- Experience in software systems development using CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security
- Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools
- Proficient in tools like AWS Cloud Services, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, Gradle
- Experience with Unit/Integration Testing
- Experience with Test Driven Development
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
