About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage all on-site construction activities across assigned projects
  • Oversee contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is performed in accordance with specifications, schedules, and quality standards
  • Monitor project progress against milestones, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to maintain delivery timelines
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and regulatory requirements across all site operations
  • Review and approve construction methodologies, work plans, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and project controls teams to ensure seamless integration of project phases
  • Manage cost performance by tracking expenditures, supporting budget control, and contributing to forecasting and reporting activities
  • Facilitate communication between clients, consultants, and site teams, providing regular updates on project status and key deliverables
  • Lead site inspections, quality assurance processes, and resolution of technical or operational issues during construction execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience managing construction activities on large-scale EPC or infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience overseeing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary site teams
  • Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, budgets, and cost control activities
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • Valid CSCS card or equivalent site certification for construction management roles
