About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver consultancy on systems engineering challenges, digital modelling, and solution architecture
Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, define problems, and shape solutions that align with business and operational objectives
Develop and maintain close client relationships, ensuring long-term collaboration and strategic advisory support
Support bids and proposals by providing technically credible, commercially viable solutions
Support systems lifecycle management, overseeing key processes such as requirements engineering, verification & validation, and system integration
Facilitate workshops and technical discussions, ensuring alignment between engineering teams and business objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline
Relevant experience in a Systems Engineering related role
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering in Cameo, Enterprise Architect or Rhapsody
Understanding of engineering processes and lifecycles (ISO 15288 etc.)
Experience with Systems Engineering established Requirements Management toolsets (IBM DOORS, DOORS Next etc.)
Complex problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
