About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the development and implementation of mission assurance requirements over the entire project life cycle.
Monitor processes for compliance to the developer’s procedures and contractual requirements.
Participate in production planning and review manufacturing flow plans.
Examine process design and/or process qualification records.
Monitor contractor quality and safety controls during fabrication, integration, and tests.
Support activities related to root cause corrective actions.
Review flight hardware records for completeness prior to integration & final acceptance testing.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
10 + years Quality Engineering experience
Previous NASA or aerospace industry experience
GMIPS for Electronic Boards
Pre-cap inspection of hybrid microcircuits
Final workmanship inspection prior to box level final closure prior to integration into the next level of assembly.
Basic Compensation: $121,200 - $181,800.
