About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and execute strategies to handle complex nuclear safety challenges
Manage technical tasks such as safety assessment, risk assessment, hazard identification, fault schedules, design basis analysis, probabilistic analysis, safety functional requirements
Conduct periodic review of safety of nuclear facilities
Qualification and substantiation of systems against safety requirements
Internal and external hazards assessments
Safety case development and support for nuclear and non-nuclear plant
Authoring or reviewing/verifying safety-related documents

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrable 4+ years of civil nuclear or defence nuclear infrastructure experience
A Degree, Master's or PhD in a relevant STEM subject
Well-developed organisational skills and proven track record of leading technical teams
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with changing priorities and operate autonomously
An appetite to continually learn, improve and stretch yourself
A willingness to travel and spend time on client sites
