About the role
- Provide network engineering SETA support to the Government.
- Advise on ground, enterprise, and range network architectures supporting TT&C operations, system integration, and test events.
- Review contractor designs, ICDs, performance analyses, and test results to ensure compliance with SCAR requirements and operational needs.
- Review contractor Layer 1–3 network architectures, including routing, switching, VLANs, multicast, QoS, redundancy, and resiliency.
- Assess ground and NOC integration designs, network demarcation points, and ICDs with government enterprise systems and test ranges.
- Evaluate network performance supporting TT&C operations, including latency, throughput, prioritization, and fault tolerance.
- Review PTP / timing network architectures (boundary clocks, QoS, GPS integration, holdover concepts) and assess mission impact.
- Review network-related test plans, procedures, and results; identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide independent technical input for SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and readiness reviews.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline and 10 years of relevant experience.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, QoS, VPNs, firewalls, and timing networks.
- Prior SETA or government advisory experience preferred.
