Senior Instrumentation/Controls Engineer
KBR, Inc.Senior Instrumentation/Controls Engineer leading offshore energy storage projects and managing feasibility studies. Collaborating with clients and preparing technical specifications for field instruments.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leading various offshore energy storage projects
- Prepare field instrument specifications, datasheets, and procurement documents
- Perform technical evaluation of field instruments like control valves, shutdown valves, flow instruments, level instruments, pressure instruments, analyzers, etc.
- Prepare instrument list, IO list
- Prepare control narratives, cause & effect, system block diagrams
- Review instrumentation in mechanical packages and provide inputs, perform vendor offer evaluation, vendor drawing review, etc.
- Participate in HAZOP, design reviews, etc.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Electronic/Control Systems/Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum 7 years' of experience in I&C Engineering
- Relevant experience working on Feasibility Study/ Pre-FEED/ FEED projects with reputed International clients
- Experience in Onshore (LNG, power, CCS, refinery, petrochemical, bio-fuels, renewable, low carbon fuels) and Offshore projects
- Good communication & coordination skills
- Ability to understand client and project requirements and meet the project expectations in terms of quality and schedule
