About the role

  • Develop and maintain pricing models for new business proposals and contract renewals.
  • Analyse cost structures, labour rates, and market benchmarks to ensure pricing is both competitive and compliant.
  • Generate financial inputs in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams for commercial tenders.
  • Support the full pricing lifecycle including analysis of requirements, data preparation, modelling of outcomes, gate review process, and bid submission.
  • Provide pricing insights and recommendations to leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Capture Management, Commercial, and Program Management teams to align pricing with strategic goals.
  • Identify pricing risks and mitigation strategies, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
  • Maintain proposal documentation and pricing records in SharePoint and other internal systems.
  • Other reasonable tasks as assigned relevant to this appointment, skill set and experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or cost estimation
  • Advanced Excel and cost modelling skills; experience with pricing tools and ERP systems preferred
  • Strong understanding of government contracting and cost estimation principles
  • Solid problem solving skills and persistence in the face of obstacles
  • Ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
  • Ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance
