About the role
- Lead the modernization and migration of legacy applications to the cloud, primarily AWS
- Architect cloud-native solutions that maximize scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with Enterprise Solutions Architect and application teams to align modernization strategies and cloud adoption roadmaps
- Establish governance, security, and performance standards for cloud-based applications
- Drive major cloud transformation projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions
- Mentor and guide teams on cloud best practices and modernization approaches
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong emphasis on cloud modernization and migration
- Proven experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating them to AWS (other cloud platforms a plus)
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures, application refactoring, and modernization strategies
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
