About the role
- Assess the structural integrity of components.
- Conduct strength, fatigue, creep and defect tolerance assessments.
- Write bespoke software tools to assess components.
- Deliver and lead projects across Frazer-Nash portfolio.
- Meet and communicate with customers to understand requirements.
- Work across our business and with our clients.
- Support others in the team with project delivery.
Requirements
- A degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Technical knowledge in the mechanical / structural engineering domain.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (such as Abaqus, Ansys or SC03).
- Experience in different failure mechanisms, such as strength, fatigue (low cycle and high cycle fatigue), creep and fracture.
- It would be advantageous, but not essential, if a candidate has: Experience in a technical consultancy environment.
- Experience of business development.
- Experience of building client relationships.
- Experience of project management.
