About the role
- Capture ownership of assigned opportunities
- Manage and execute the full BD life-cycle process
- Lead large ($100M+) solicitation pursuits
- Develop a winning strategy and capture plan
- Plan and lead capture activities
- Qualify and assess new opportunities
- Develop plans to understand customer requirements
- Lead milestone/gate reviews and proposal reviews
- Develop and submit proposals and artifacts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of experience
- 8+ years of industry experience
- 4+ years of experience in business development
- Experience winning new business single award contracts valued over $200M
- Demonstrable history of winning large prime, single award, non-IDIQ contracts
- Working knowledge and experience within a mature, industry-leading capture organization
- Understanding of corporate indirect rates and LOE/BOE development
- Proven success in business development, capture management, program management, science and engineering programs, civil space programs, civilian federal programs, acquisition processes, opportunity identification and qualification
- Demonstrated leadership skills in services-centric organizations
