About the role
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on CUAS solutions
- Creating systems to jam, disrupt, or neutralize UAS, including hardware and software solutions
- Analyzing the performance of counter-UAS systems and optimizing their design for effectiveness
- Integrating counter-UAS systems with other security infrastructure and networks
- Providing technical support and maintenance for counter-UAS systems
- Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications
- Assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents
Requirements
- BS Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology or Equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- US Citizenship
- Active/current Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
- MS Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology or Equivalent (preferred)
- Experience supporting Navy cUAS/CuXS solutions (preferred)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to include US military personnel, GS workers and contractors (preferred)
- Experience with system and hardware/software component manufacturers/suppliers, and government stakeholders (preferred)
