About the role

  • We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our platform teams.
  • This team plays a critical role in shaping and optimizing our internal platforms, focusing on Identity & Access Management (IAM), mailing services, and our backend architecture.
  • As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a highly skilled team that defines the technical foundation of our company.
  • You are not afraid to get your hands dirty by actively contributing to development efforts with a focus on using backend technologies such as Golang and PHP (among others)
  • You are responsible for advancing your team members’ skills and careers and inspiring them through purpose
  • You develop, monitor and own the relevant KPIs for your teams (cost, SLAs, SLIs, etc.)
  • You contribute to our guidelines, policies and standards to improve how we work.

Requirements

  • You have a background in a product team, focusing on the right technical solutions and don’t shy away from owning your products end-to-end
  • You have several years of hands-on engineering experience in Golang and knowledge of PHP
  • Initial leadership experience through mentoring, coaching, or in a managerial position is beneficial but not required. We seek someone passionate about people management who wants to grow into an Engineering Manager role
  • You have experience with utilizing cloud and infrastructure resources and are familiar with tools like Kubernetes
  • Your communication and interpersonal skills stand out, enabling you to collaborate effectively with product teams.
  • You are fluent in English (C1) and enjoy working in an international environment
  • Your approach is results-oriented, with a dedicated focus on delivering top-notch solutions.
