About the role
- Post-editing of machine-translated texts for the Kaufland.de online marketplace
- Independently improving translations to ensure content meets the requirements of the Dutch market
- Close collaboration with other freelancers and in-house translators, as well as project managers, to ensure translation quality
- Technical affinity and experience working with AI-assisted CAT tools
- Creation and ongoing maintenance of termbases and glossaries
Requirements
- Fluent Dutch (native level) and German (C1–C2 level)
- Professional experience in post-editing and adapting texts for the Dutch market
- University degree in a humanities subject, preferably in languages or translation
- Strong knowledge of CAT software
- Openness to new tools and technologies to continuously optimize working methods
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other freelancers, in-house translators, and project managers
- Attention to detail and proper task prioritization
