About the role

  • Leadership with responsibility: You will assume the technical and disciplinary leadership of a team and create an environment in which quality, collaboration and professional development are central.
  • Reliable payroll processing: You ensure legally compliant, timely and smooth payroll processing for approximately 5,100 employees in accordance with AVR and legal requirements, and independently handle your own payroll cases.
  • Design & optimization: You further develop payroll processes, harmonize structures and drive standardization to sustainably increase efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborative partnership: You act as the interface to adjacent areas such as timekeeping and HR administration, supporting the efficient interaction of all HR processes.

Requirements

  • Solid expertise: You have experience in payroll and a thorough knowledge of the legal framework in social security, payroll tax and employment law.
  • Leadership with integrity: Your leadership style is appreciative, clear and cooperative. You actively support your employees and ensure a professional, trust-based collaboration.
  • Practical experience: You have completed commercial vocational training or hold a comparable qualification and are proficient in MS Office and common payroll systems—ideally P&I Loga.
  • Structured & forward-looking: You think strategically, work independently and solution-oriented, and maintain an overview even during busy periods.
  • Knowledge of AVR or TVöD‑K is an advantage.
