About the role
- Care and monitoring of critically ill patients after major surgery, including mechanical ventilation, dialysis, and ECMO therapy
- Performing, preparing, and assisting with intensive care therapies and interventions
- Participation in the in-hospital resuscitation team — rapid and effective action in life-threatening situations
- Planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of nursing care
- Active involvement in shaping nursing and organizational processes, incorporating digital solutions to optimize workflows and improve patient care
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as a qualified nurse or registered nurse; additional qualification in anesthesia and intensive care is desirable, or willingness to undertake part-time further training alongside work
- Practical experience in intensive care is desirable but not required — career starters, those returning to (intensive) care, and academically trained nurses are warmly welcome and will receive comprehensive onboarding
- Independent, solution-oriented, and evidence-based working
- Strong communication skills and a reflective, empathetic attitude
- High sense of responsibility in the independent care of seriously ill patients
- Team-oriented mindset: ability to work in a dynamic team, share ideas, and develop solutions collaboratively
