About the role
- The OTA training program lasts three years
- Provides the necessary professional and methodological competencies to independently perform and assist in operative (surgical) areas
- Practical training comprises 2,500 hours
- Theoretical instruction comprises 2,100 hours
Requirements
- Intermediate secondary school certificate (Fachoberschulreife) or an equivalent qualification
- Lower secondary school certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) plus a completed vocational training of at least two years
- Medically and linguistically fit (suitable health and language skills)
- Sense of responsibility and team spirit
