About the role
- Leads the development and implementation of all customer service and logistic strategies in support of Company objectives
- Leads and drives customer service metrics for on-time and complete deliveries, transit time reduction, and minimization of OS&D claims
- Leads continuous improvement identification and execution for department, and develops and maintains metrics for inventory, working capital, and variances to spend targets
- Maintains and optimizes total delivered cost models inclusive of inbound freight, warehousing, transfer freight, and freight to customers
- Participate in the Business Continuity Plan and Recall/Withdraw team
- Comply with all Plant, State, and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations
- Comply with GMP’s in the co-manufacturing plants and distribution centers
- Supports diverse hiring and related initiatives to meet company goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or equivalent
- 10 years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain management
- Strong computer skills, including advanced capability in Microsoft Excel and other data manipulation tools
- Advanced analytical, problem solving, and decision making abilities
- Able to work independently with a high level of accuracy
- Consumer products experience
- Experience with multiple ERP systems
