About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, coordinate, and execute application and system deployments across multiple environments.
- Support software release management and deployment activities for enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure successful implementations.
- Monitor deployment activities and resolve issues during production releases.
- Maintain deployment documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure deployment processes comply with security, governance, and change management policies.
- Perform deployment validation, rollback planning, and post-deployment support.
- Automate deployment activities and improve operational efficiency where possible.
- Coordinate environment readiness and release scheduling with stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot deployment failures and provide timely resolutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in Deployment, Release Management, DevOps, or Production Support.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of deployment automation, release management, and environment management processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google GCP.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and change control processes.
- Experience with scripting tools such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
