About the role
- Provide leadership and direction of field sales representatives to achieve Karyopharm objectives
- Develop field sales plans and lead a regional team of field sales representatives
- Allocate total regional sales budget and control expenses accordingly
- Coordinate with Market Access and Medical Affairs functions at regional level
- Teach, train, and coach sales professionals regarding product and disease state knowledge
- Foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and industry contacts
- Oversee compliance from field sales team on all company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, required
- 8+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- 2+ years of pharmaceutical field sales management experience at a regional level preferred
- Significant experience within oncology or rare disease, including product launch(es)
- Solid knowledge of retail, hospital, and managed care environments
