About the role
- Provide care and support to our residents according to individualized care plans, taking their wishes and needs into account
- Collaborate with general practitioners, therapists and relatives to ensure the best possible care and to build a trusting relationship
- Implement our company’s concept(s) for working with people with dementia to ensure respectful, needs-based care
- Provide collegial consultation and support to our staff in specialized care to consistently achieve the highest quality of care together
- Conduct internal training sessions on relevant topics to continuously expand the team’s expertise
- Actively participate in quality circles and working groups to continuously improve care processes
- Conduct life-history/biographical work in close cooperation with the primary nurse to respectfully incorporate each resident’s individual background
- Help shape the facility’s living environment to create a homely and appealing atmosphere that meets the needs of our residents.
Requirements
- Completed training as a qualified nurse (Pflegefachkraft)
- Completed further training as a gerontopsychiatric care and support specialist according to AVPfleWoqG — ideally with relevant professional experience
- Empathy and sensitivity in working with our residents
- Reliability and team spirit — you enjoy working closely with colleagues and actively contribute to the team
- Flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility — you are prepared to respond to different needs and situations
- Motivation and willingness to learn — you are open to further training and want to continue developing professionally
