About the role
- Care and support for older people with mental health disorders (e.g., dementia, depression, schizophrenia)
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation for challenging behavior
- Guidance and support of the nursing team in working with gerontopsychiatric residents
- Participation in care planning and quality development in the field of gerontopsychiatry
- Individualized care: you design care that truly reaches our residents
- Assistance with daily living: you provide support with empathy and commitment
- Competent medical care: you carry out physicians' orders safely and keep important vital signs under observation
- Teamwork on an equal footing: you work closely with a dedicated and excellent team
Requirements
- Completed training as a nurse (generalist) or an equivalent basic nursing qualification, e.g., geriatric nurse, registered nurse
- Possess advanced training as a gerontopsychiatric specialist or be willing to undertake such training
- You are empathetic, communicative, reliable, a team player, respectful and appreciative, and you stand for modern and professional care to achieve the highest possible wellbeing for each of our residents
