About the role
- Development, optimization and implementation of parametric design solutions that advance our robot-based 3D concrete printing processes
- Development and adaptation of parametric models in Grasshopper and Rhino 3D
- Optimization of geometries for 3D concrete printing (Design for Additive Manufacturing)
- Creation of prototypes to automate design and production processes
- Close collaboration with our engineering team to further develop our digital toolset
Requirements
- Enrolled student in Computational Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
- Solid knowledge of Grasshopper and Rhino 3D (mandatory)
- Initial experience with parametric modeling and generative design
- Good understanding of digital manufacturing processes (CAM, CNC, robotics, 3D printing)
- Basic knowledge of Python or C# for Grasshopper plugins is a plus
- Analytical, structured working style and creativity in problem-solving
- Interest in new technologies and sustainable construction processes
- Independent and responsible working manner as well as team spirit
- Very good German and English skills
